On Saturday 27thNovember Redruth Rugby Football Club will be recognising the incredible work that our NHS have done, not only within our own community, but throughout the country over the last 20 months or so. We have all taken the NHS for granted over the years but the extraordinary lengths they have gone to during the pandemic is beyond comprehension. All NHS staff will be granted free admission to both the ground and the Terry Pryor Stand for our National League 2 South clash with Worthing Raiders. The kick off for this game is 2:00pm. All NHS Staff have to do is to present their ID badge at the main gate and free admission will be granted. We will also be collecting for the RCHT Charity Trust on the day.

The club has worked incredibly hard with the NHS over the last few months and currently has a Covid Vaccination Clinic in the Sponsors Bar Building and it has accommodated the AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) Screening programme for over 60 year olds in the club’s physio room. From our perspective it is the least we can do to aid the local community in keeping good health.

We intend to make the day a very special one and will have entertainment in the main bar after the match to round off what we hope to be a memorable day. Providing that entertainment will be Jack Kessell who, if you haven’t heard him before, is excellent.

We look forward to seeing you all on the day so please come along, enjoy the rugby but most of all show your appreciation for the amazing NHS.
