Redruth face Taunton this coming Saturday as we enter the final quarter of the 2025/26 league season. Redruth maintained their 8th place in the table after picking up two bonus points at Hornets last week in a game that went all the way to the wire.
Taunton are one place and 7 points above us after a comprehensive 61-14 win over Chester in what was their first game back at the Summerfield Stadium since the severe flooding last month.
The first league encounter between our two sides was back in the 1987/88 season when we lost 23-17 at Priory Park in a South West 1 match. The record so far, from Redruth’s point of view is P22 W10 D2 L10. Earlier this season Taunton ran out 44-15 winners in the away leg.
Referee: Lloyd Davies. Assistant Referees: Rob Lowe - Ian Pengelly.
