

In a match played at Callywith College, Bodmin the young Reds comfortably saw off the challenge of their near neighbours to lift the silverware. In an excellent performance they out scored their rivals by six tries to one.
Three first half tries, with one conversion and a penalty gave the Reds a satisfying 23-0 lead at half-time.
The second period saw the Reds stretch their lead with three further tries. With just 5 minutes left on the clock Camborne scored a consolation try that was converted. The Reds had the last word sealing their victory with a final penalty from Fitzpatrick.
The man-of-the-match chosen by the CRFUs Steve Murley was Redruth’s fly-half Olly Bonds.
