Redruth 2s are are home this coming weekend in a Counties 1 Western West game against Kingsbridge. The Reds take the field after last week’s 8-5 win over St Ives where the biggest battering was dealt out by the weather. Despite the conditions, the Red’s managed to contain the Hake's powerful pack and record their first win at Alexandra Road. It was a real contrast to last season’s 43-17 defeat in the same fixture.

Kingsbridge are currently in third place in the table although positions are a bit skewed as they have played five games this season to the Reds’ three. The Devon sides’s only defeat was a 21-12 loss at St Ives back in December.

In their last match here against Kingsbridge, back in April, the Reds ran out 62-38 winners.
