Reds 2's take centre state at the Rec this coming weekend as they welcome Somerset side Wiveliscombe for the final league game of the season. The Reds come to this match off the back of a fine 62-38 win over Kingsbridge last week which has left them in 5th place in the table.

The visitors will certainly be tough opposition. They have had an outstanding season having lost just three of their matches and have already secured promotion to Regional 2 South West.

Depending on matches elsewhere the 2s look set to hold fifth place, which is where they finished last season, in a league that is very competitive.

Next season there will be an added edge with the arrival of Camborne into this league, which means that there will still be a Redruth v Camborne league derby to savour.

After the match the players will be In Hellfire Corner and would love to share a drink with supporters.
