Note: Game to be played at Redruth Albany RFC with a 2.30pm kick-off.
Redruth 2s are at home this coming Saturday with a visit from Plymstock Oaks. The Reds picked up 5 points in the earlier fixture with a 32-24 win, following which I understand a few halves of shandy were quaffed at an Oktoberfest party.
The Reds had a tough time of it last week with a 73-33 defeat at pace-setting Paignton. Already understrength before the kick-off, the loss, during the game, of playmaker Adam Hall and then Aden Earnshaw, both to injury badly disrupted the side.
The Reds start the game in 5th place against a side that has had a bit of a struggle this season and are currently 10th in the table with just 5 wins. Their only victory on the road was a 40-29 defeat of near neighbours Saltash back in November.
