The fixture gods have ensured that there are no home games at the Rec this coming Saturday. While the 1st XV are in the frozen north, Redruth 2s make the somewhat shorter trip across the border to face Paignton.
The Reds sit in 4th place in the table and will be looking to regroup after two defeats on the trot. The match away to Kingsbridge just before Christmas saw Redruth take the lead only to let the Devon side pick up momentum and run in four quick tries to record a 34-26 victory. A late Redruth try did secure the consolation prize of a losing bonus point.
Paignton have been one of the form sides of Counties 1 Western West this season and are currently in second place with a 100% home record.
