After a string of home matches Redruth 2nd XV get their travelling gear on for a trip up to North Devon to take on Barnstaple II. Their opponents have been one of the form sides in Western Counties West this season and are currently sitting in second place in the table just four points adrift of Pirates Amateurs.

The Reds, who have lost just one game since mid-December, will find their hosts a tougher proposition than last weeks opponents, league strugglers Tavistock. The Reds piled on 38 points with no reply by half time, and soaked up a Tavistock revival to run out 67-0 winners.

Barnstaple II, who are known as Barnstaple Athletic, have lost just four games this season and racked up 13 try bonus points. They came to Redruth back in November with the Reds running out 26-21 winners, including a penalty try following a high tackle on Dan Rutter.
