On Saturday with the 1st team taking a break the 2's take centre stage with a trip to the seaside as they take on Newquay Hornets in 'Counties 2 Tribute Cornwall'.
Hornets have not had a great start to the season winning only 1 of their 6 matches, their victory coming over Illogan Park by a mighty 74-5.
This may though paint a somewhat false picture of their current form as last week they only lost to Veor by 10 points.
Hornets currently sit in 9th place with 7 points.
The clubs top try scorer is Matt Bosley (centre) on 5 (equal 2nd in the league) and their top points scorer is Jacob Clews (fly-half) on 30. The Reds may be facing one of their former players on Saturday as the powerful Beau Danks has been a regular in their front row.
The Redruth 2nds continued their winning ways with a 36-17 away win at Liskeard-Looe last Saturday keeping up their 100% record. This keeps them in 2nd place on a maximum 25 points, 5 behind leaders Saltash and 1 point ahead of 3rd place Veor, the Reds have a game in hand over both sides.
At present their leading scorer Dean Wills is also the leagues leading scorer with 99 points and 7 tries, Jayden Oakes is leagues equal 2nd highest try scorer with 5.
Referee: Eddie Ingram.
Look out for team news on Friday.
