After the excitement of winning the league title the Redruth 2nds set their sights on another trophy when they travel to mid Cornwall to take on Wadebridge Camels 2nds in the Duchy Senior Cup semi-final.
This could prove to be one of the hardest matches of the season as the Camels are having a great season. They have finished 2nd in Counties 3 Tribute Cornwall only two points behind champions Hayle.
The Camels have won 20 of their 22 fixtures and have a 100% home record. Their only defeats came away at Camborne 2nds and at Hayle and they are unbeaten since October 2023. They have a +826 points difference and scored an average of 48 points/game.
The Reds 2nds season has been nothing short of fantastic. They have won Counties 2 Tribute Cornwall with a 100% win record, only missing out on the 4 try bonus point on one occasion. 1107 points have been scored, an average of 55/game, and they have a +913 points difference.
With all these tries Dean Wills has had a field day with the boot and has amassed 310 points, the highest in the league. Dean is also top of the leagues try charts with 18.
The winner of this match will take on either Camborne 2nds or St.Austell Sinners in the final on 27th April.
Look out for team news on Friday.
