Redruth started strongly amassing 19 points in as many minutes. A try by Ryan Daughtry was converted by Ali Stacy who then added 2 tries of his own converting one of them.
St Austell then became the dominant side for the middle period of the game scoring 4 tries and converting 2.

St Austell started the second half where they left off in the first scoring 2 more tries with one conversion taking their score to 38 points. Redruth now started to take back control scoring tries by Ali Stacy 2, bringing his total to 4 on the day an outstanding performance, Jamie Prisk, Henry Eddy, Luke Cummins , Jack Hazelton and a penalty try
A great comeback from the Reds who showed great character against a very strong st Austell side in a match that was a great advert for second team rugby.
