On Saturday the Reds welcome Worthing who make the trip from Sussex along no doubt with their vocal and very friendly travelling support.
Worthing are having an excellent season winning 7 of their 11 matches. Last time out though the Raiders lost at home to the ever improving Hinckley by 26-28. Our visitors sit in 3rd place with 39 points and a boast a +39 points difference. The Raiders top points scorer is winger Mathew McLean with 104 pts, and top of the tries are hooker Nathan Jibulu with 6 and McLean with 5.
The Reds should be going into the game with confidence after gaining the clubs first ever win at Canterbury by 26 – 22 which was another impressive win on the road. Or is it multiple roads? The trip was somewhat of a routine one with no broken down coaches or food poisoning outbreaks to contend with! The result leaves the Reds sitting pretty on top of the table with 43 points from 10 games and a whopping +173 points difference. The Reds are level on points with Esher but are on top due to having won more games; the Reds also have a game in hand.
So far this season 5 players have featured in all 10 league matches and a remarkable 34 players in total have featured. Top of the tries are Jack Oulton 7, Kyle Bradley 6 & Steele Barker 4. Frazer Honey tops the points tally with 90.
Pre-match meals served in Richard Sharp Lounge cooked by Roseworthy Farm Caterers (roast beef dinner followed by cheeseboard) and game entry £25(£15 for members). Add a bottle of wine £10
