New faces at Hellfire Corner this coming Saturday as we welcome Lymm who have made the 320 mile journey down from Cheshire.
Lymm were one of the pacesetters in National League 2 North last season, finishing in third place with 19 wins out of their 26 games. They were looking forward to another successful season in that league when the RFU intervened to move them into National 2 West, in place of Macclesfield.
Lymm started the season in great form with an away win at Luctonians, never an easy place to go, and followed that up with a close home win over near-neighbours, Chester.
Despite any effects of their long journey they will be tough opponents and we look forward to an exciting game.
Early kick off at 2pm
Referee James Walker. Assistant Referees: Rob Lowe- Ian Pengelly.
NB: Lymm supporter Paul Foulkes, at 75 years old, is cycling the entire distance from Lymm to Redruth, 360 miles over 5 days, to raise funds for Lymm Rugby Club for these long away trips.
