One hundred and forty eight years after our two clubs crossed swords for the first time at Rosewarne (Redruth won) this is still the game both sets of supporters look forward to. The Reds make the short trip across the Tuckingmill demilitarised zone to face the Cherry & Whites on their home patch.
Both sides got the season off to a winning start. Redruth’s powerful pack proved too much of a handful for Loughborough students, despite them turning up with a full BUCS side. Jamie Prisk was a well-deserved man of the match and credit must also go to Dean Wills who was on target with the boot despite having to deal with a treacherously swirling wind.
After missing out on promotion last season Camborne made the long trip to Chester, running in seven tries in their 45-25 victory.
Early kick off at 2:30.
Referee: Dan Parrott. Assistant Referees: James Milliner - Will Williams.
