It’s tight in the middle with Redruth in 6th place separating Luctonians in 5th and Old Redcliffians in 7th all on 47 points, so something will have to give when Old Reds come to Redruth this coming Saturday.

Redruth come to the game after a hard-fought 20-7 win on the road at Exeter University last week while Old Redcliffians will be considering themselves lucky to have got away with a 29-27 home win over a competitive Macclesfield.

Old Reds have been one of our toughest opponents since their arrival at this level. Of the ten games we have played so far, Redruth have won four and lost six. Earlier this season when Redruth travelled to Scotland Road, it was a last minute home try that snatched a 45-40 victory.
