Redruth Ladies are in action this coming Sunday when they make the trip to Helston in NC 3 South West (West). On their last outing they demolished Plymouth Argaum 46-5 and currently sit in third place in the league table with a game in hand over the top two. That result helps to make up for the disappointment of losing the abandoned game against St Austell.

One of those top two is Helston, who are in second place. They have recorded wins over Wadebridge and Plymouth Albion but lost at St Austell two weeks ago.

Helston were one of the first women’s sides to be founded in Cornwall with two of their number featuring in the first-ever Cornwall County Women’s side in their game against Devon at Truro back in 1994.

Kick off is at 2pm
