It’s a big day for the Redruth Ladies side on Sunday when they play their first full length competitive game against a combined Penryn/Totnes side in a full-blooded 80 minute game

This follows their first Inner Warriors games two weeks ago when they travelled to Exeter for a double header. They beat Plymouth Albion 22-10 but lost to Exeter University.

Penryn are currently the longest running ladies side in Cornwall. The senior team plays in Women's NC 1 South West (West) .

Totnes Ladies, known as the Bluebirds, currently play in the Inner Warrior competition.

For those who missed the last preview, Inner Warriors is the first step into the RFU women’s league system and is designed to help teams move up to the league proper. It is a great introduction to women’s rugby.
