On Thursday 1st April 2021, our Covid-19 Vaccination Centre in Redruth went live. The pharmacy team have been greatly supported by the @redruthrugby club staff and local volunteers throughout. A fantastic team effort!
The volunteer stewards were excited to be part of the programme and they all did a superb job in ensuring the patient flow ran smoothly, the clinic remained sterile and watched over their patients once vaccinated.

On Wednesday 17th March 2021, the NHS approved a local Covid-19 vaccination centre which will be managed by Day Lewis Pharmacy in Redruth.
The mass vaccination centre will be fully operational from Thursday 1st April 2021 at Redruth Rugby Club (Redruth Rugby Club, The Recreation Grounds, Lower Cardrew Lane, Redruth TR15 1SY) and will aim to vaccinate a minimum of 1,000 patients a week. Patient bookings will be handled by the NHS central booking system and those that qualify will be contacted by the NHS.

Day Lewis Pharmacy have been serving the local community in Redruth for many years. The Day Lewis team consisting of Pharmacists and colleagues from local Day Lewis Pharmacies will be managing and running the centre, with the support from local volunteers who have experience in the healthcare field together.
