On Saturday the 2's are away to Liskeard-Looe in 'Counties 2 Tribute Cornwall'.
Liskeard-Looe have had a mixed start to the season wining 2 of their 5 matches, both at home, against Newquay Hornets by 12-7 and Helston by 22-17, this leaves them in 7th place on 9 points.
The club does a fantastic job in flying the flag for rugby in the east of the county offering a full mini-junior set up for both boys and girls and also running a colts side.
The Redruth 2nds have had a great start to the season winning all 4 of their matches to sit in 2nd place on 20 points with a game in hand over leaders Saltash. Last weeks match saw them beat St. Austell 2nds by 45-21 in a very entertaining match. The game was a lot closer than the score line suggests and it was only the Reds cutting edge outside of the scum that made the difference. Try and catch the young Reds when they are next at home they play a very entertaining brand of rugby and deserve your support.
At present their leading scorer Dean Wills is also the leagues leading scorer with 88 points and 6 tries, Jayden Oakes is leagues 2nd highest try scorer with 5.
