On Saturday the 2's travel to St.Austell looking to continue their good start to the season in the snappily titled 'Counties 2 Tribute Cornwall'.
Last season St.Austell 2's, 'The Sinners', earned the honour of being the best 2nd team in the County by both winning the cup and achieving the highest league placing so this will be a tough test for the young Reds.
The Sinners have a 100% record so far having beaten Liskeard-Looe at home by 20-0 and Newquay Hornets away by 36-17, this leaves them in 3rd place behind Veor and Saltash on points difference.
Redruth had a good start last week beating a useful Perranporth side by 34-17, this puts them in 4th place but with a game in hand, the Reds opting to postpone the Camborne School of Mines match rather than claim the points. The Reds scored 5 tries through Owen Wildgoose, Jayden Oakes, Bailey Williams, Adam Hall and Jarad Williams with Dean Wills kicking 9 points.
Look out for team news on Friday.
