On Saturday Redruth welcome to the Recreation Ground two Hinckley RFC who make the long trip down from the East Midlands.
Hinckley had been having a very good season, but that description should probably be downgraded to good after losing their last 3 matches.
Last time out they played on the 3G against Hornets and had tough time losing 41-12. It would have ben difficult to know who the crowd were shouting for as the nickname of Hinckley is 'The Hornets'!
Hinckley currently sit in 5th place on 65 points, having won 12 and drawn 1 of their 21 matches.
Their man with the boot is Rory Vowles (centre) with 105 points and their top try scorer is Ben Pointon (scrum-half) with 11.
Hinckley won the encounter between the two clubs back in November, comfortably, by 31-7 and like Redruth will look forward to playing on grass this week.
Last week the Reds came away from the match up at Exeter, also on the 3G, with a losing bonus point which on another day could have been more. The pitch was a multi-use one and had more lines than Paddington station! This result puts the Reds into 8th place on 58 points having won 10 and drawn 3 (yes 3) of their 21 matches.
The Reds leading try scorer is Matt Pritchard on 8 and Rhys Brownfield still tops the points tally with 43.
Look out for team news on Friday.
Referee: Ben Simpson
Assistant Referees: Ian Morgan & Andy Bickle.
Top of the Table: Luctonians still lead but only by 2 points over Dings Crusaders, this one is going down to the wire.
Bottom of the Table: This looks settled as Dudley Kingswinford and Newport look in big trouble and the 'fat-lady' whilst not yet singing is certainly clearing her throat.
