The Reds whilst disappointed to lose the match will feel some satisfaction in winning the second period 10-0 and getting a bonus point away to the 3rd best side in the league. Being 20-3 down at the half-way things were looking bleak but the fightback will lift the spirts for the seasons run-in. Playing the match on the 3G (rather than the mud at Topsham) certainly suited the fast ball skills and athleticism of the student side.
Next Saturday the Reds face Hinckley at the Recreation Ground with a 2.30pm kick-off. Remarkably this is the penultimate 1st XV home match of the season with only the match on the 6th April against Dudley Kingswinford to follow.
