On Saturday Redruth welcome to the Recreation Ground our old friends from BristolDings Crusaders RFC with a 2pm Kick-off.

Our visitors need no introduction at Redruth these days and always bring with them a good number of their friendly supporters
Dings are having a very good season, after a shaky start when they lost 3 of their first 5 matches they have now gone on a 7 match unbeaten run and could claim to be the form team in the league. Last week they they thumped Newport (Salop) by 77-12. This leaves Dings in a lofty 2nd place on 46 points with a +166 points difference (top team Luctonians are 10 pts ahead). Dings top try scorer is Jacob Hawkesby (hooker) with 12 and their top points score is Jacob Perry (Fly-Half) with 85.

Last year the sides had two completely lopsided encounters, firstly in Cornwall the Reds comfortably ran out 49-19 winners but in the reverse fixture it was Dings time to shine as they won 50-19 mainly due to a 2nd half the Reds would not wish to be repeated.

Last week the Reds match and Dudley Kingswinford was cancelled due to a frozen pitch so the Reds last encounter was the when they overcame Newport (Salop) by 40-26 in a display that saw them produce some excellent flowing rugby and run in 6 tries in the process. This puts the Reds into 7th place on 34 points with a -35 points difference.
The Reds leading try scorer is Frankie Nowell on 6 with Luke Barnes and Ben Fox hot on his heels with 5, Jordan Gott tops the points tally with 36.
