Redruth RFC are looking for volunteers.........and guess what? You don't have to be a rugby expert to be involved! Lets face it most of us aren't.
While the benefits of volunteering are specific to each individual, the environment of a community rugby club is a rewarding place to be for people with differing sets of skills. There are opportunities to get involved for people of all ages, and some of the benefits include:
Building self-esteem and confidence
Learning and developing new skills
Enhancing work experience and building a CV
Being active and improving health and well-being
Meeting new people and broadening your social network
Giving something back to the game you love
Making a difference in the community
Having fun!!!!!!
Examples of areas you can help in are:
• Match day stewarding and gate staff
• Accumulator sellers
• Ground and clubhouse maintenance
• Sponsorship
• Club Executive
• Website content
• Club Promotion
• Fund Raising
• Mini-Juniors and Colts Sections
• Matchday Programme
• Etc .......................
If you are interested, in the first instance please contact Martin Caddy (volunteer coordinator) on martincaddy@icloud.com or 07968406274
We look forward to hearing from you.
