It is with such great sadness we announce the passing of ex player, James Huxtable, who tragically passed away on Saturday morning.
James, son of ex-player, clubman and executive committee member, Keith, played for the Reds last season and only left the county to pursue a career in London, of which the team were hugely supportive. Whilst in London he quickly joined Belsize Park RFC, so that he could continue with his rugby passion, and where he played his last game on Friday night.
There aren't many families who could proudly boast 3 generations playing rugby at the same club donning the well known Red jersey - James grandfather also played for the club, and was immensely proud to watch his grandson play last season.
RIP 'Huxy'. Sleep well.
